The Perfec Mat recessed floor mat is outfitted with a rubber hinge construction that is designed to minimize "metal to metal" noise when traffic traverses across the aluminum roll up mat. This type of aluminum roll up mat can be outfitted with two frames designed for a surface application or with three frames designed for use in a recessed floor mat setting. Similar to the Aluminum Hinge version, the Perfec Mat aluminum roll up floor mats with a rubber hinge are available with 4 tread inserts, 7 anodized aluminum finishes and a mill finish alternative as well. Recessed mats with carpet inserts are recommended when the aluminum roll up mat is inside and moisture retention is desired. For superior scraping action, we recommend the polypropylene brush inserts for a recessed floor mat used either outside or inside. The Peak Vinyl inserts are normally recommended for your aluminum roll up floor mat when it is used inside or outside. If a high level of friction coefficiency is desired, go with the vinyl abrasive inserts for your aluminum roll up mat.
